No Dobson, No.

Here I am waking up at 4 am due to drinking too much coffee last night and I stumbled upon this ass pat comment towards Dobson.

For probably the 100th time I stressed this but CRITICISM IS NOT HATE SPEECH.

I don’t care what you draw or what you photoshop, if you think someone pointing out something in your drawing negatively, DO NOT TAKE IT AS A PERSONAL ATTACK. They only want to help you succeed, train you to work better, and improve on your artistic life.

It’s 2018 and yet people act like snowflakes whenever someone criticizes their work, claiming the person who did say something is jealous. Kinda like Meyer focusing on one negative comment on her terrible books and having fans ass patting her books. Stop acting like an overgrown child and prove yourself by practicing more drawing techniques. Be glad someone mentioned how you can fix your work.

Dobson, you’re near 40 and live with your parents. And yet you call yourself an artist because you assume you can get away with getting money for lazy effort.

You need practice and patience. Get a comfort box and enjoy your drawings.

Don’t take is as a mundane task. And eventually you can win the criticism debate because you listen and worked on your mistakes.

Then again, you want a hug box. Sorry, the world does not revolve around you, Dobby. Take this advice and quit bitching over criticism.

-YingGirl, from one artist to another.

A solid bit of advice that Dobson will sadly ignore because it hurt his feelings, I’m sure.

literally the worst comic i’ve read, i got through about six of the comics before laughing and putting it down. i don’t understand the fandom, obsessions, anything… it’s a gross fetishization of mlm and it makes me so upset to read because people who like it obviously have no clue how awful it is for this comic to be the “pinnacle of lgbt” representation in these webcomics

You know, all you could say was “I don’t like KS, it’s not my thing– and maybe here’s some good, real criticism of the story that I personally think–.”
But no, you decide to put down the fanbase, and accuse them of fetishizing MLM– which they aren’t, you’re bastardizing the word “Fetishize,” and thus turning it into nothing but another buzzword. Way to go.

You’re the one who called it the “Pinnacle,” of LGBT representation, none of us did– you’re projecting here, sorry.
