Where do I even begin with this…

So apparently Dobson responded to people talking about him on tumblr with a typical “woe is me, I’m so unjustly hated and attacked” posts, and while I expected this of him eventually, I didn’t really expect it this way. Let’s begin.

First things first: this is not one of my posts. Admittedly I’m not the only one posting in the “Andrew Dobson” or “Tom Preston” tag on here, but it is like 99.9% me. So it’s just seems kinda odd to me that the first acknowledge of the backlash to him getting on Twitter is a callout post by someone else. I’d argue that maybe it’s just because he doesn’t want to draw attention to the blog, but my tumblr is literally the only link he didn’t black out as a “hate blog”.

Which is doubly-weird because he literally talks about this blog in the next paragraph, just not naming me this time.

Yes, Dobson. The ONE picture you drew of two gay men kissing. As I recall, you drew it for International Gay Day or something years ago while preaching about how you’ve always supported gay rights and you’re such a good ally, and so on.

Also, the complaint isn’t “you draw lesbians”. It’s “you clearly fetishize lesbian relationships and try to dress it up as progressiveness, as evidenced by pretending to be a teenage lesbian so you could draw fetish art of young lesbians inflating/popping and killing each other, shaming a teenage lesbian for calling your KorraSami obsession creepy, shipping Dorothy and the Wicked Witch together, ect” among others. Stop trying to hide behind half-truths and out-of-context complaints people have had with you.

So congratulations, you drew ONE picture in your years and years of posting art online. Gold star for you.

Ah, forgive me. There was that other one…

Okay, so a few points here:

• You only draw WuKo as a way to “punish” Mako for daring to be a former love interest of Korra and Asami. Your hatred of the character has been documented before.
• “I was one of the first!” Again, trying to gain as much “fame” for something you did solely to hate on a character and now want LGBT+ ally good boy points. You shipped two cartoon characters together as a couple supposedly earlier than other people. Why does that matter?
• Pologamy would involve all participants being in a willing relationship. As I recall, almost every instance of of your Alex ze Pirates characters interacting involved Alex treating the guy like shit/hitting him, the lesbian girl sexually assaulting Alex every chance she got with Alex never being happy about it/returning said affection, and the guy and lesbian girl almost never interacting.
• You yourself referred to the three of them as a “love triangle”. That is not the same thing as a polyamorus relationship.

Moving on…

What does being white have to do with the LGBT+ community, Dobson? Are you saying there are no white people in the LGBT community? Or are you saying their opinion in this doesn’t matter because they’re white?

What characters have you created that aren’t cis? Serious, name one single non-cis character you’ve drawn so far. You’ve been drawing online for almost 20 years if not more, I haven’t seen a single transgender characters you’ve drawn that exists as of this moment.

People can fathom it, Dobson. That’s why it’s clear to all kinds of people(whites, blacks, men, women, cis, transgender, straight, gay lesbian, ect) that you’re full of shit.

And actually, what you said was you would specifically only exclude white cis males from your comic from now on.

You then continued to brag about it.

Repeatedly.

And as I said last time, Dobson: I don’t hate you. You’re not worth hating. I’m just making sure people know the real you and not the act you put on.
